It's been over a year! Eric has looked forward to this interview for a very long time. He always loved his first interview with Mediatonic's Jeff Tanton because of his conversations about stupid shit in video games. Last time it was the original Resident Evil's horrid voice acting. This time it's speaking about streaming and the Grand Theft Auto series. Of course, there's plenty more here. In fact, it's one of the longest interviews ever in the Indie Luchador series. The first developer he thought of was Dennis Wedin of Dennaton (Hotline Miami). Dennis didn't start out with ambitions of making Eric's favorite game franchise. Instead Dennis just wanted to make some of the coolest music known to man and build a game based around it. Dennis and Eric sit down to talk about Dennis' band, Fucking Werewolf Asso. and how he decided that a game needed to be made to encapsulate the sound, Dennis' life in music, what comes next for Dennaton, and that Hotline Miami 3 game menu at the end of Hotline Miami 2. There is a new Indie Luchador in town and he's not Eric Lee Lewis. I would like to say that with this first interview under my belt, I hope that I can fill these incredibly big shoes.
