Entrepreneur Spotlight: Anita Joseph in conversation with Harpreet Ahluwalia, Founder & CEO, Earthly Creations. She is  recipient of several prestigious awards. She won the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2021.Harpreet’s Earthly Creations is a socio-economic venture that equips artists with opportunities to generate sustainable employment. Earthly Creations works with potters and rural artisans to enrich their lives, since being in the informal sector makes them vulnerable to many challenges.  Over 4,500 + designs in animal+ bird shaped pots are created by potters( 10 woman) in 6 clusters over 8 states pan India, where in a sustainable and scalable livelihood is provided to them.    Earthly Creations has changed the way corporate gifting, and employee felicitations are done- where in the aim is Love an animal, gift a  plant, now and always. Dr. Paramita Mukherjee Mullick is a scientist, a national scholar transformed into an internationally acclaimed, award-winning poet. She has written eight books. Her poems have been translated into 39 languages and widely published in national and international journals and anthologies. Paramita is the President and Initiator of the Mumbai Chapter of the Intercultural Poetry and Performance Library (IPPL). She passionately promotes peace poetry, indigenous poetry, multilingual poetry and global poetry. She promotes fusion of poetry with other performing arts and uses poetry to promote awareness of climate change and conservation. Apart from numerous awards from Indian Literary concerns she has been blessed with the Gold Rose Award from MS Productions, Buenos Aires, Argentina for promotion of Literature and Culture. Paramita is also the Cultural Convenor and Literary Coordinator (West India) of the International Society for Intercultural Studies and Research (ISISAR).

Padma Shri Anup Jalota sang an English song for the first time in his career based on Paramita’s poem “Love Grows”. A video of the same name with her recitation and Anup ji’s song was released by Tips-Volume in You Tube in February this year. It is trending now. It featured paramita as a Perfect Woman in the May issue of a magazine of the same name. A few days back Paramita was one of the recipients of the prestigious Panorama International Literature Award 2022, given by the World Capital Foundation, Greece.

David Leo Sirois is a Canadian-American poet published 120 times, in 17 countries. His work has/will be translated into 12 languages (Hindi, Bengali, Nepali, French, German, Czech, Spanish, Greek, Romanian, Chinese, Turkish, & Doric). He hosts Spoken World Online, the Zoom continuation of SpokenWord Paris. His first collection is called Humbledoves (poems to pigeons & plants). He won Third Prize in Winning Writers' Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest, & his poetry has appeared in journals such as The Bombay Review, The Poetry Village, One Hand Clapping, Indian Periodical, The Sunday Tribune Online, THE BASTILLE, & Terre à Cièl (which also published his translations from the French). Dr Deena Padayachee, who is a medical doctor, a graduate of Natal University in South Africa and the recipient of the Olive Schreiner and Nadine Gordimer prizes for prose.

Dr Deena’s poems have been published in India, the United Kingdom, USA, Australia and South Africa. In particular, his book of liberation poems, 'A Voice From The Cauldron' was published during Apartheid in 1986. Dr Roopali Sircar Gaur,  retired professor of English Literature,  Delhi University. She’s also a poet, travel writer and social justice activist. She comes from a military family-her father was in the military, her husband,a  verteran soldier, and writes poems about soldiers and war related themes.
