Let Me Influence You

2h 18m · Published 01 Dec 15:46

Hey you little craft beer nerds!

On this episode, we sat down with 2/3rds of Thespeakpodcast (Rob and Adam) at our home and chatted about various topics that came to mind while sampling some craft beer. We know it's been awhile since we last recorded, so we're giving you over 2 hours of content. Things get a little out of control, but what do you expect when you're giving Kevin 10% and over ABV beers.

Cheers!

Brewdog Indy

46m · Published 29 Sep 19:29

On this episode of Out Here Having a Pint we were at our home away from home and (in our humble opinion) one of the hoppiest places on earth, BrewDog Indianapolis! We had the incredible opportunity to sit down and chat with Dani Campbell, GM of the new Indianapolis location that is still in its infancy at only 3 weeks old!

We took a "Dive into Dani" and learned how she became the GM of BrewDog Indy and craft beer advocate, and chatted everything BrewDog, from the location here in Fountain Square to the beers that are available, including the amazing sour options. We answer important questions such as "What is an EFP and how can I become one?" to "As a brewery how can I get my beers on tap at the new BrewDog location?"

Civilian Brewing Corps - Spencer Indiana

1h 44m · Published 27 Aug 23:19

Hey you little craft beer nerds!

Civilian Brewing Corps is Spencer’s destination for great beer, amazing food, and good company. We traveled to speak with owner and brewer Ben Williams to experience his beers as well as their very own craft soda.

In 1933, the Civilian Conservation Corps began work to make McCormick’s Creek the first state park in Indiana.  Now, nearly a century later but just down the road, the Civilian Brewing Corps is bringing Owen County its first brewery.  We love this place and it deserves good beer.

Cheers!

Back at Moontown

1h 10m · Published 12 Jul 10:32

On this episode, we headed out to Moontown Brewery in Whitestown Indiana to try out two fantastic releases.

From their event description;

Summer Sunshine Pale Ale: "Everyone loves the Sunshine." Our seasonal American pale ale greets your nose with citrus and tropical fruits. The bitterness remains light, balanced by Maris Otter and pilsner malts. Local Indiana honey and a touch of oats smooth things out.

La Lune Bière Grisette: The lighter-bodied sister of the Saison, this unique style of farmhouse ale originated in the fertile lands of Southern Belgium and was a favorite of the miners and and factory workers of the area. Like the saison, the grisette was brewed primarily to refresh at the end of the day. Light in body and low in alcohol, a grisette will cut through the dust and grit after a long day's work, with a thirst-quenching and satisfying dry finish.
