How to Get 1000 Followers to Go Live on Tiktok

8m · Published 09 Dec 12:00

A different episode today, I'm seeing so many instagram and tiktok accounts trying to get to 1,000 to start their own card breaks.  In almost a year of trying out different types of videos here's how I'd get to 1000 fast.  My social media strategy, is not the best strategy overall so don't copy me.

I hope you get some value here to grow on social organically, give more than you ask for.

Do Influencers truly "Influence" the Trading Card Market? PSA Grading and Sports Card Market Update

13m · Published 09 Nov 12:00

In this episode I talk about the large influencers in the Space ie Garybee, Sports Card Investor, Card Ladder, Fanatics etc and if they truly influence other people in the hobby.  Personally I think they don't need to influence someone for a quick $1000 dollar win based on other success' and they are purely documenting their process already and making content out of it.

PSA's grading report over the last 7 days has TCG rising up the ranks, and a drop in sports - PSA would like to get up to 45,000 cards graded daily by end of Q4.

Lastly a sports card market update - I think the market is stable as its been in the last year, more and more big sales are being made at shows, so we aren't seeing them online or at Goldin.

The NFL Trade Deadline That Wasn't, Henry Ruggs Card Rant, and 2 New tools I used in the last week

6m · Published 04 Nov 13:00

In this episode of the rookie card investor podcast I rant about Facebook groups not removing old Henry Ruggs cards as these were very active on buy sell trade groups.  The NFL Trade deadline that wasn't very popular, and something I didn't predict.  Will we see some players get cut then added to a team later? Who knows?

I talk about why I am buying Christian Kirk cards, and a little on the Hobby AI and Drip live for sports cards.

Ebay Hacks, a thought about COMC I can't get out of my brain, and my favorite flipping strategy for graded cards

10m · Published 26 Oct 12:00

In this sports card investing podcast I share some ebay best practices I see after watching my friend make some mistakes when getting into the hobby, and how to list a card on ebay.

Second - an idea I have with COMC and if we should be buying more cards there to sell cards faster as supply chains slow down, and domestic Shipping lead times keep getting faster

Third - my current and favorite sports card flipping strategy to stay liquid, and keep trading up in the hobby.

Thank you so much for listening and sharing our love of Sports Cards, collect what you love - and don't take it too seriously.

My First Card Purchase From Fanatics' and Football Card Market Update

10m · Published 21 Sep 12:00

I ordered a box of Topps Chrome from Fanatics, and I wasn't thrilled with how long it took, I hope that won't turn off sports card collectors that look to sell at least some of their cards back to collectors when ordering new product.  I'm sure this will get all cleaned up when they have the license.

Secondly - I talk about my favorite thing in the hobby Football Cards, Skill position players have made a slight surge and Joe Burrow is getting a lot of love on ebay.

Thanks for listening!

Football is Back, and my two cents on the last few weeks in the hobby!

8m · Published 14 Sep 13:00

The Nfl season is back, and so are those rookie card sales!  Trey Lance, Trevor Lawrence, and Mac Jones are dominating the charts!  Secondly the last few months have been weird in the hobby, and it's gotten a little toxic I think this will change shortly, as we awaited the new season in the NFL!

Are Breaks Gambling? ... uh of course?

7m · Published 03 Sep 13:17
I saw a lost on Instagram speaking on razzes and breaks and if they are gambling or not. This kinda riled me up and I spoke a few words on this.
