This movie isn't sure what it wanted to be and the actors weren't sure what was wanted of them and so you have a wild and crazy ride of so much insanity. Thankfully you have your buddies Scimmy and kingmonkey to go through it all with you and we discover the hidden truth behind the movie!

It's the fourth Monday of the month and we are all sunshine once more. We discover our warm and comfortable blanket answer that has almost turned into the easy button of the podcast and explore some options you can use when tackling these issues and maybe some ways to prevent them. Today we begin our series on running a game at RPG Crossing. We start at the before time, coming up with the idea and preparing for implementation. We focus a little more on play-by-post specifics, as running a game for forum posting requires very specific planning and thought, though many of the big picture concepts remain similar. Also, sorry for the audio weirdness, somehow KM's audio came through on my channel for this one but I believe we caught it before the next one was recorded.

Application making is a huuuuuuuuuge topic and I for sure did not plan to cover it all in this little aside. Nope, not at all! Instead, we are touching on it and some of the main points because it was requested. We could spend an entire month at least talking about game applications and maybe we will. Last week, we talked about things to look for when finding the game for you. So, naturally, now that the perfect game is found, we have to teach you how to come up with a character to maximize your chances of getting in. Note that this is distinct from making an App which we will talk about next week. Ultimately, we for sure give exacting and detailed answers to all of you and leave absolutely no ambiguity or room for error in our findings. Also, the dramatic reading has been moved to next week because SOMEbody didn't get their work done on time.

We are starting with the very beginning: how to find the right game. Ultimately, there is no single right answer for everyone but we discuss our process and some of the core things to consider. Expect some real breakdowns in future episodes in May as we look at making a character, writing an app, and dealing with failure.
