On Episode 37 of The Terror Talks, we are breaking down and rating Containment Haunted House's 2021 Haunt!

On Friday, September 24th, Containment Haunted House opened their doors to their first unsuspecting victims for the 2021 Haunt Season with their Main Haunt Attraction: The Overlords

The rulers of the underworld have turned to the innocent

Jack'-O-Lantern to carry out their bidding.  They are amassing a legion of these symbols of Halloween and preparing to invade the world of the living.  The evils within Containment have joined forces and are attempting to escape their confinement within the walls of their unhallowed ground.  They are awaiting your arrival to unknowingly follow you home.  They will await the awakening of the orange gourds and help preform the bidding of "The Overlords".

This haunted attraction has been Top Rated in both 2018 and 2019 and has also been voted in the Top 3 Haunted Attractions in USA Today’s Top 10 Nationwide Vote.

This was our first year getting to attend the haunt after happening upon it by mere conincidence, and boy were we glad we found this one!!

All the houses that we'll be reviewing this year will be rated on the Scream Scale!

With this, we will evaluate each haunt's Sets, Costumes/Makeup/SFX, Technical Effects, Scares, Pacing, and Actors on a scale of 1-5 Screams.

The average number of screams will determine our ranking for the haunts!!

On Saturday, September 25th, Folklore Haunted House opened their doors to their first unsuspecting victims for the 2021 Haunt Season with their 3 Attractions, “The Manor”, “The Asylum” and “Overload”, as well as their Midway of Mayhem!

This haunted attraction has been dubbed Atlanta’s INFAMOUS Haunted House and has been featured on Fox 5, Big Scary Show, NBC, and USA’s Greatest Haunts.

This was our first year getting to attend the haunt after unsuccessfully attempting to go last year.

Now we FINALLY are getting to attend and we couldn’t be happier!!

But would things be everything we hoped? Would the haunt live up to it’s title as “Atlanta’s INFAMOUS Haunted House”? Would be in for a terrifying treat…. Or A Horrific Failure?

This year we have a brand new rating scale for the houses we're visiting.

All the houses that we'll be reviewing this year will be rated on the Scream Scale!

With this, we will evaluate each haunt's Sets, Costumes/Makeup/SFX, Technical Effects, Scares, Pacing, and Actors on a scale of 1-5 Screams.

On Episode 35 of The Terror Talks, we are breaking down and rating Paranoia Haunted House's 2021 Haunt!

On Friday, October 1st, Paranoia Haunted House opened their doors to their first unsuspecting victims for the 2021 Haunt Season with their two ALL NEW Houses for the 2021 Haunt Season, “The Void” & “Suffering”

This haunted attraction has been a major haunted attraction in Canton, GA since 2010. This was a haunted house that we found while just hunting down other attractions to visit, and we were VERY GLAD we found this one!!

After attending not only last year’s 2020 Haunt Event, but also their Midsummer Night’s Scream Event in July 2021, we knew we had to return to see what Paranoia had in store for us this year!! Our team was privileged enough to get the chance to attend the Opening Night for the 2021 Season, and what a night it was for us!!

Would the things that amazed us last year reappear this year? Would we be left in shock at the detail work of the team? Or would we leave feeling underwhelmed and feel like we were back at square one? There’s only one way to find out…. Time To Break Down….

The film stars Annabelle Wallis as a woman who begins to have visions of people being murdered, only to realize the events are happening in real life. Maddie Hasson, George Young, Michole Briana White, and Jacqueline McKenziealso star.

On Episode 33 of The Terror Talks, we are breaking down and rating Plantation Blood Haunted Attraction's 2021 Haunt!

On Saturday, September 18th, Plantation Blood Haunted Attraction opened their doors to their first unsuspecting victims for the 2021 Haunt Season with the theme “Hallowed Grounds” and the tag line: “Terror Has Awaken”

This haunted attraction has been Augusta, Georgia’s main haunted attraction for as long as we can remember. Ever since we began having a fascination in horror and haunted houses, we always heard about this location, but never were brave enough to enter, having heard a lot of stories that would turn off the bravest of people to this location.

Last year, we decided would be our first experience visiting Plantation Blood Haunted Attraction, and we were pleasantly surprised. The entirety of the time we were at the attraction, there appeared to be no issues. We did not see any signs of the issues we had heard about in years past. Everything appeared to be a fun and scary haunted house and THAT is what we are there for!!

After going through the attraction last year, we were very pleased on what we were able to report.

It was definitely a much better experience than what we had believed we were in for, and this led us to believe that we would receive the same experience again this year. But would we?

Would the things that amazed us last year reappear this year? Would we be left in shock at the detail work of the team? Or would we leave feeling underwhelmed and feel like we were back at square one? There’s only one way to find out…. Time To Break Down….

On Episode 29 of The Terror Talks, we are discussing the films Candyman (1992) & Candyman (2021).

On Thursday, August 27th, MGM released their new film, "Candyman" to the public. 

This new film, adapted by the minds of Jordan Peele, Win Rosenfield, and Nia DeCosta would serve as a direct sequel to the 1992 film of the same name. 

With this information in mind, we decided it would be a good idea to watch both the original film and then go check out the newest addition. 

Candyman (1992): Skeptical graduate student Helen Lyle (Virginia Madsen) befriends Anne-Marie McCoy (Vanessa Williams) while researching superstitions in a housing project on Chicago's Near North Side. From Anne-Marie, Helen learns about the Candyman (Tony Todd), a knife-wielding figure of urban legend that some of her neighbors believe to be responsible for a recent murder. After a mysterious man matching the Candyman's description begins stalking her, Helen comes to fear that the legend may be all too real.

Candyman (2021): In present day, a decade after the last of the Cabrini towers were torn down, Anthony and his partner move into a loft in the now gentrified Cabrini. A chance encounter with an old-timer exposes Anthony to the true story behind Candyman. Anxious to use these macabre details in his studio as fresh grist for paintings, he unknowingly opens a door to a complex past that unravels his own sanity and unleashes a terrifying wave of violence.
