Visions of the Past

Throughout the course of history within Assassin’s Creed, we’ve seen numerous religions and cults that worshiped the Isu in one form or another. None have been more dedicated to ensuring the legacy of the Isu will live on than The Instruments of the First WIll. Today, we take a look at this group and see just how far they were willing to go in their worship of the Isu.

First alluded to in a database entry in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Elijah has only appeared in the comic Assassin’s Creed Uprising and had a few paragraphs dedicated to him in the second edition of the Assassin’s Creed Essential Guide. Throughout Assassin’s Creed real world myths and legends are taken and molded to represent something that happened within the Isu Era. For instance, the legend of the Sky Woman was presented in Assassin’s Creed Rogue in the form of 24 Cave paintings found across the American Colonies by Shay Cormac in 1757. Today, I take a look at the Iroquois legend of the Sky Woman and what that could mean within Assassin’s Creed.
