It's been a minute, but we're back to help ease the pain of quarantine. We hope you're all staying safe and healthy out there. Normally we'd be at Anime Boston, but that's become time we get to spend with you! It's been a while since you've heard from us, so let's catch up and talk about some anime... and a lot of not anime! The Isekai genre has become so formulaic that they’ve finally narrowed it down into a single book form! Now we don’t need to make anymore of them ever again, right . . . right?! Some authors of the genre have really gotten together and created their own Hitchhiker’s Guide to the genre they know best! Naturally, Wicked Anime wants in and is going to let you know what would be in their guide as well!

Mainly, there are typically problems that have to do with short throwaway plots, uninteresting bad guys, or just 90+ minutes of fan service.
