How do you overcome your insecurities?

47m · Published 26 Oct 07:20

What gives rise to these insecurities?

What feeds them?

What defeats them?

And finally, how do you overcome them?

A recent survey by The Today Show and AOL showed that over 60% of women experience hurtful, self-critical thoughts on a weekly basis. And the top self-critical thought is linked with their body image - how they look and how that makes them feel.

The time people spend getting ready is not the only time they spend on their appearance: most people also think about how they look multiple times throughout the day. And while men and women both think about their personal appearance, women think negative thoughts almost TWICE as often as men. Similarly, teen girls are almost twice as likely as teen boys to think negative thoughts about their appearance on a regular basis.

How do you define success?

50m · Published 09 Oct 03:01

“Do you think you’re successful?
If you say YES, then, “why do you think so?”
If you say NO, then, “why do you think so?”

I believe that so many of us today have our own definitions of success that we fail to live up to.

And this makes us doubt ourselves, every day.

And question if we’re good enough.

But, what if we could view success with a different lens?
What if we could question our answers?
What if we could find our true worth independent of our success?

How to Talk to Indian Parents about Love Marriage?

39m · Published 10 Jul 08:45

“You never really understand that your parents are also growing each day.” -  Gurin Pal Singh

We often think that our parents don’t understand us, without asking ourselves, do we really, and I mean, really understand them?
