With a positive COVID-19 test almost two and half weeks post symptoms, good friend and return guest Eli Harrison explains what exactly went down roughly a month ago when this virus first shook the world. While the news cycle went wild with any bit of information they could get their hands on, Eli and the rest of the Dungey Boys were under a direct investigation by the CDC, to get any information they could from a diagnosis that did not fit the mold for what they had been previously reporting on. Along with all of this, we talk frustrations with testing, symptoms of the virus, what the testing is like, different people with different situations, social media virtue signaling and how Eli has to cook again. Episode 15 of the MORE MENTAL DAYS PODCAST is the first of what I will consider deep dive solo episodes. Essentially a first person book report I recorded on my experience with float tanks/ sensory deprivation chambers. Take this with a grain of salt and hopefully a ballpark perspective into realities and doubts one may have on floats and/or what the benefits of them might be in both some physical and existential forms. I would call this either a hybrid between first person, experimental skepticism practices or a total hunk of, what can only be called, verbal compost. In short, floats rule and no matter how you listen, I'm happy your here!

Episode 9 is with my good friend Kevin Doherty. A Jersey guy through and through, Kevin wrote and published a poetry book called "Bound to the Road" about road trip travel, thoughts, sites and emotions along the way. Kevin has also been working in the park service for the past couple years and living in a couple different parts of the country.
