Sabinna is joined by Carmen Lalane, the owner of Carmen Squared. Carmen is a Portland native of Haitian descent, and an HBCU graduate from Johnson C. Smith University. With the influences of her mother and grandmother, Carmen has created a business with liquor products for Haitians and supporters of the Haitian community. The liquors are made with love and come from a recipe from her own grandmother. Carmen has been making liquor in the kitchen since she was a child. This episode features some homecoming and nostalgia for those who are familiar with the Haitian culture. You can tune in with Carmen and Sabinna to feel welcomed.
