Nothing Is Sacred

Relationships? Sex? Mental illness? Religion? If these subjects interest you, then this is the podcast for you. These topics may cause discomfort, however, when exchanging views and truly listening with an open-mind, we can learn to shift our perspectives and expand our way of thinking. In this podcast, we review how our thoughts and relationships are affected by religion and culture. We also throw in a bit of travel, for fun.

Ep. 12 Vaccines, Chicken Wings and Cognitive Dissonance

42m · Published 22 Jun 22:09

What do anti-vaxxers, animal lovers, and religious folk have in common? Cognitive Dissonance.

Join Janis and Dave as they bite into the uncomfortable topic of being wrong. They discuss the hypocrisy of: anti-vaxxers, religions, animal lovers (who also love to chow down on some BBQ wings) and, the justifications that we all use, to prove a point of view and win an argument.

Hypocrisy kills relationships with our family and friends. We believe our relationships will improve when we put our pride aside and are willing to be wrong. If you want to improve your relationships with others, take a listen and feel free to give us your feedback.
