Episode 053 - Another Side To Architecture!

42m · Published 09 Feb 01:38
This week, we have the pleasure of sharing a conversation with Marisa Cortright who is a Business Development Officer at UNStudio. Now, this episode is a bit different because Marisa is not a designer or an architect but, with degrees in architectural and urban history from the Bartlett School of Architecture and Barnard College, she is immersed in the world of architecture through business development. I enjoyed this conversation a lot because Marisa and I discuss a different side of architecture. I think it's important as designers and architects for us to be truly honest with the work we do and what our work and our profession as a whole represent. I first found Marisa through the article she wrote in 2019 - "Death to the Calling: A Job In Architecture Is Still A Job". It's really an eye opening piece where she talks about the overlooked side of the profession. We'll be diving into this article in the episode! In the meantime, enjoy, get inspired and let's get real. It was a fun and eye opening episode. Enjoy! Beat by Doctunes aka Omzzi Song Rambo by Henri-Paul
