Prior to joining Adam Smith International, Emdee had previously worked at various technology companies including a Multi-national ICT training firm and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Headquarters, Abuja. He is credited for his work in developing NYSC’s first and official mobile application that helps 70,000 Youth Corps members in Nigeria “stay out of trouble” through the provision of Health, Financial and Security help and response in real-time. Emdee is an Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer (OCPJP), Oracle Certified Associate Database Administrator (OCADBA) and an Oracle Certified Professional Database Administrator (OCPDBA). In 2018, he founded Girong – Nigeria’s foremost Virtual Reality company for Local Tourism. Girong was born out of his obsession for futuristic technology and a life-long experience of visitation to scores of tourist destinations within Nigeria and beyond. Emdee Tiamiyu is more popularly known for his Daily Inspirational Messages that is now delivered to over 60,000 readers in 26 countries via major social media platforms using the hashtag #YouHaveARightToBeMotivated. In the last 25 months, Emdee has delivered over 65 speeches across the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria, in the People’s Republic of China and in the United States of America. He is a 2016 Mandela Washington Fellow. During his Fellowship in the United States, he learned Public Management best practices at the Arizona State University (ASU). Emdee Tiamiyu was also privileged to meet President Barack Obama in Washington DC. Emdee is the author of the best-selling book “Act like a Corper, Think Like a Gold” an inspirational book that helps Prospective & Serving Corps Members get the best out of the NYSC programme. Ritarilla Barick Yusuf is final year law student of University of Maiduguri. She is from Adamawa state, Nigeria.
She is a writer, a poet, and a motivational speaker, she has over 200 poems and two self published short stories titled ” Far from home ” and “The Road to Ethiopia”. Poetry and performance has taken her to some part of Africa, Tanzania and Adis Ababa.
