Dancer turned writer Kari Burke shares her story "What is Love? Baby Don’t Hurt Me” about complicated emotional entanglements. Her stories of gender, sex, and shame have earned her a following in Austin, Texas, where she lives and works as an ICU nurse and super sharp wedding officiant. "Handsome" is her first book, and she’s a little nervous about her dad reading it.
