Ep. 091: On Being Powerful with Noel Strane

53m · Published 05 Apr 16:11

Join me and the phenomenal Noel Strane for another inspirational and invigorating episode! The energy with which Noel speaks and engages in this conversation is contagious. A few minutes of listening to this man will inspire you to go out and be, do, and have whatever you want! (Though I encourage you to listen to the entire episode if possible.)

In this episode, we explore how our unique life experiences lead us to what we are, do, and have in our lives; how to flow our energy toward the things we love most; how synchronicities are all around us; how everything has a frequency (and how to raise that frequency); how our thoughts are habits; the importance of this present moment and enjoying the journey; and how I spent the entire episode mispronouncing his name …..

Noel Strane grew up in the SF Bay Area as a standout baseball player, thinking the pros were in his future. When an injury in college derailed his career, he was left wondering what he would do with his life. After several years of trying to find his life path, Noel attracted a mentor into his life who introduce him to Network Marketing and the Law of Attraction. Ever since, Noel has been passionately evolving and becoming more and more aware of his purpose, and loves spreading the message around the world that we all can be, do, and have anything we desire in our lives!

Be sure to connect with Noel at www.noelstrane.com or on social media @noelstrane. Then be sure to subscribe, rate, review, and share this show with a friend who could use a does of inspiration!

Ep. 090: On Doing the "Right" Thing with Donna Sager Cowan

43m · Published 27 Mar 17:11

When faced with deciding how to act, sometimes the toughest part is figuring out how to do the "right" thing. How you view the right thing makes all the difference. And this is often not clear. You may experience conflicting emotions and feelings, feel unsure about potential choices for or against certain action, whether you are convinced that it either is or isn’t the right thing to do. How, then, can you make the wisest and best choice?

Joining me today is Donna Sager Cowan, author of the all-new children’s book, With The Courage Of A Mouse. Together we explore how to connect with our courage, meet challenges head on, and remember there is a superhero that lies within each of us.

As the youngest child in a large family, Donna felt lost in the crowd. She entertained herself by making up stories and friends to play with. By age 5, Donna had taught herself to read, and that began her imaginative journey to dreamy castles with princes and fairy godmothers. Donna is a grandmother, random fact-finder, and encourager. And yes, she believes she's a superhero. She resides in California with her family and four cats.

You can learn more or get in touch with Donna on her website: www.donnasagercowan.com. And grab a copy of her new children's book for that special child in your life on Amazon or Barnes & Noble (or wherever books are sold).

Ep. 089: On Shining Your Light with Karie Millspaugh

47m · Published 20 Mar 16:51

Grab your sunglasses (or don't and soak in the brilliance!) and join me and another bright light, Karie Millspaugh, on today's episode. Karie and I get the inspiration flowing and the light shining as we talk about having the power to speak your truth, share your story, and shine your light to make the world a better place. We have real talk (I don't have it any other way) about self doubt, old programming, how we self-sabotage and play small, and how shining your light doesn’t have to come from a place of ego—because it’s not about us; we are simply the channel for the Divine.

Karie Millspaugh is a Publicity and Speaking Agent. She assists her clients to be seen online, in the media and on the stage with her Public Relations, Marketing and Speaking Agency. Karie is also a public speaker, best-selling author, and designates most of her time empowering her audience in entrepreneurship, leadership, and business. She calls herself a serial Entrepreneur and has started up multiple businesses over the years. She thoroughly believes that in order to be known, you first must be seen which is why she started her two agencies. Karie resides in Las Vegas as a single mom with her fun-loving teen daughter who is an aspiring actress.

If inspired to reach out and connect, you can find her at www.kariemillspaugh.com or on Facebook @kariemillspaugh.

And be sure to subscribe, rate, review, and share if this episode brought you a little inspiration today to go out, shine your light, and express more of who you truly are.

Much love.

Ep. 088: On Connection with Michelle Falcone & Rnold Smith

56m · Published 14 Mar 16:29

We live in a fast-paced society where there is a large amount of information being given and received, but how often are we truly connecting and nurturing our relationships? Social media, e-mail, texts, phone calls, and meetings: These are the typical ways we constantly connect on most days. True connection is essential to our existence.

Joining me on today’s episode is Rnold Smith and Michelle Falcone of The Habit Factory, the co-creators of The Connection App, to discuss this vital topic. Together we explore:

* how connection starts with connecting with, loving, and accepting oneself first

* the importance of filling our cup first so we can connect with others

* how to be more authentically ourselves

* the criticality of human connection (and the loneliness crisis we are currently living in)

* how our technology and social media plays into all this (and since it’s not going away anytime soon, how to interact with it differently)

* how we tend to distract ourselves from connection (either with ourselves or with others)

* the importance of creating more loving habits in our lives (and how to do it)

You can learn more about Michelle and Rnold, connect with them using this technology we have, and check out their Connection App at www.theconnectionapp.com.

And, if you enjoyed this episode, be sure to share, subscribe, rate, or review so we can continue to connect more people with inspiration in their daily lives.

Ep. 085: On Perfectionism with Jason Freeman

49m · Published 19 Feb 17:11

I'm so excited to welcome Jason Freeman back to the Being Inspired Radio Show!! After eagerly sitting on this recording for a few months, I'm finally releasing it to all of you—and it's a gem of a conversation. I absolutely adore this human. Together we explore perfectionism from many angles (including a very impactful and in-depth metaphor of a train—choo choo!). We talk about the importance of self-acceptance, self-love, and how perfectionism not only blocks us but also gives us the momentum we need to create what we want to create. Tune in and join us for a delightfully inspiring conversation. Be sure to subscribe, share, rate, and/or review the show in order to help it reach and impact even more people.

Jason Freeman is a professional speaker, author, and bravery coach who travels the country sharing his inspirational and transformative journey with captivated audiences . . . and he does it with a pronounced speech impediment. From the dream-affirming standing ovation following his TEDx talk in Sugarland, TX to his earliest moments in front of an attentive crowd, Jason has known to trust his seemingly contradictory calling to speak in front of live audiences. He has shared the stage with well-known speakers in the transformational, entertainment, entrepreneurship, and business worlds. For much of his life, Jason struggled to accept his voice, his body, and his place in the world. Desperate for a change, he set out on a decade-long journey of rigorous self-development. He studied with gifted coaches, stretched his beliefs with yoga teachers, and sat in attendance at more workshops and seminars than he can properly recount today. The result that Jason discovered along the way is a life full of happiness, possibility and success worthy of being shared and awakened within others.

You can learn more about him or get in touch at www.jasonwfreeman.com. Also, be sure to get a copy of his book, Awkwardly Awesome: Embracing My Imperfect Best.

And, while you're at it, check out mine, which Jason lovingly endorses multiple times during this episode.

44m · Published 04 Feb 16:11

Join me and the wonderful Sandy McClenahan for another inspiring conversation! Together we explore what it means to be human. Because ... human happens. We talk about the integration of being human AND spiritual beings; the importance of moving through our feelings and letting them be what they are; how we evolve from the “should’s” of our experience into allowing ourselves to experience all the things it means to be human; the role guilt, shame, and depression plays in all this; what happens when we are unwilling to embrace our humanity; the messiness of the human experience; and so much more. Be sure to subscribe, rate and/or review, and share with a friend if this episode inspires you to do so!

Sandy McClenahan is a Professional Coach and Speaker. She works with women to empower their authentic voice and confidently communicate that voice in the world. Ep. 082: On Thriving with Clinton Brown

48m · Published 20 Jan 17:11

Join me and the delightfully inspiring and wildly intelligent Clinton Brown for this conversation on what it means to thrive. We explore what thriving looks like versus growth for growth sake, what nature has to teach us about thriving, where we get stuck connecting thriving with our worth, what a healthy lifecycle looks like, and so much more!! Clinton offers up so much brilliant wisdom and questions with childlike curiosity that can serve each of us as we navigate this concept in our own lives.

As Eckhart Tolle says in The Power of Now, “There are cycles of success, when things come to you and thrive, and cycles of failure, when they wither or disintegrate and you have to let them go in order to make room for new things to arise, or for transformation to happen. It is not true that the up cycle is good and the down cycle bad, except in the mind’s judgment. Growth is usually considered positive, but nothing can grow forever. If growth, of whatever kind, were to go on and on, it would eventually become monstrous and destructive. Dissolution is needed for new growth to happen. One cannot exist without the other."

Learn more about Clint, reach out to him, hire him to speak at your next event or to help your business thrive and experience a healthy lifecycle on his website (www.clintonreidbrown.com) or on social media @clintonreidbrown.
