Is having a diagnosis important?

4m · Published 12 May 16:25
Yes. Always get a diagnosis for your pain problems it gives a sense of what the prognosis/expected outcome is likely to be. But having a complex diagnosis sometimes throws patients into more depression and anxiety. I'm my point of view keeping it simple makes worth to work with and prevent unnecessary stress in patients. Patients do understand their own bodies better and that forms our initial working diagnosis. Whatever we find then we are able to communicate it in a simple way.

If you have an injury, it's important to understand the structure at default, what kind of restrictions are occurring and this helps to guide you into the future prognosis of the problem. Subconscious every patient knows when to start loading, but putting in an understanding about the cause of the dysfunction, eases and calms the patient and this prepares them back to face life.

Causes of Fascial Alterations

7m · Published 18 Feb 17:06
Fascial distortions can be due to overuse, injury, everyday repetitive mvt or stress, poor circulation and lack of essential minerals and vitamins. Like any other tissue fascia works better if it gets sufficient oxygenated blood supply. With Fascia Therapy we can diminish aches and pains, increase flexibility, range of movement, enhance performance and accelerate recovery. FDM therapy and any fascia therapies help improve metabolic function.

Basics about fascia as a pain receptor".

5m · Published 13 Feb 16:04
Fascia is a connective tissue that keeps the mascular and skeletal systems together. Without fascia we can't have body form. Fascia has a higher percentage of nerve endings than any other tissue in the body, about 80% of nerve endings are adherent to the fascia system. If you happen to get pain it means something is actually interfering with the fascia tension and as well affecting the ability of the fascia to glide. Static posture are bad for fascia gliding /movement. Try and reduce static postures because our bodies are designed for movement.
