We give you the blow by blow of the most violent labor dispute in history and how it effected Carnegie. 

We follow Andrew through a labor disputes that lay the foundation for our understanding of The Bigun': The Homestead Battle. Also introducing the some of the key characters of the Homestead Battle including Henry Clay Frick and The Pinkertons.

We run up against health crisis, family deaths and finally marriage! The long back and forth between Andrew and Louise is happily resolved. 

We begin to look at Andrew's relationship with Labor and Management and he and his new love go through some intense ups and downs.

This is the period of Andrew Carnegie's life where he is biggering and biggering his works and his wealth and struggling with how he will refrain from letting this corrupt him. He hits upon a philosophy that makes him feel ever more confident that not only is this good but it is important. We also end with with meeting his first real romantic entanglement. Ooo la la, mid-1800's style. 

Andrew figures out investments and begins to build his empire.

Season Three of Once Upon a Lifetime kicks off with an episode on Andy Carnegie starts out with a rough hand in life in Dunfermlin, Scotland but makes a future for himself and his family after moving to the United States.
