Mama's Code Podcast

This week we spoke to a mama that had a preterm baby, she shared her experience with us on how her pregnancy was, the days spent in neonatal care unit and the strain it put her mentally and physically.

This week on the podcast we have Erika & Tesha from Culture slay, they've started youtube vlogs to educate us all on other Cultures and the importance all through food...so we gave it a litte twist & asked ourselves, How important is Culture in our childrens development & upbringing.

This week we spoke about how a perfectionist is formed & how this can impact our adult self's. We also asked the question 'How was your 4th Trimester....to a dad! A whole man talking about his 4th trimester, well that's interesting!

On a scale of 1 to 10 how toxic are you as a mother? Think about it...we all have some level of toxicity & red flags, lets be honest & realistic! It's truly so beautiful to hear her hear through sharing her story. We know Mothers day doesn't look the same for everyone but today we wanted to remember a Angel and honour her with the strength and courage during her last battle. Sending out lots of love to anyone that can resonate with this.

This week we had the chance to speak to one of our resident Midwife who so happens to have worked with a breastfeeding support group for a few years after realising how complicated breastfeeding actually is from her first born. She shared lots of her knowledge tips and advice.
