Fun Catholic Sunday Gospel Reflection for May 2, 2021: John 15:1-8

"I am the vine, you are the branches. Whomever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit." John 15:5

Have you ever heard stories of disobedience or rebellion? You can make a child obey but if they don't now the "Why" behind obedience, they may still fall astray later. We want them to obey NOT to make our lives comfortable or avoid embarrassment in front of other people. We want them to obey NOT because they would like to stay out of trouble. We want them to obey because of their loving relationship with God.  

Do you like game shows? Our activity this week involved a couple of Bible flash cards (Bible Times Quiz and Bible Trivia) and we formatted the discussion like a game show! For our discussion, we reviewed the Gospel this week, emphasized why we need to study scripture and shared some ways that other Catholic Moms teach the Bible at home. Last but not the least - for this episode, we have a new Sound Byte for our Fun Facts Trivia! God bless you!
