2: Kohberger Did Dine At The Mad Greek

2m · Published 02 Feb 05:09
In the weeks leading up to the murders of four students at the University of Idaho in November of last year, the man who is now suspected of carrying out the murders is said to have eaten at the restaurant where two of the victims worked.

PEOPLE reports that, according to a former worker at the Mad Greek restaurant located in Moscow, Idaho, Bryan Kohberger made at least two visits to the establishment in order to get vegan pizza. At the time of the shooting, the restaurant was staffed by two of the victims, Madison Mogen and Xana Kernodle, who were both servers.

PEOPLE has also confirmed that a now-deleted account that appeared to belong to Kohberger once followed both Mogen and Kernodle on Instagram in addition to the third female murder victim, Kaylee Goncalves. It is unknown if either woman ever waited on Kohberger or if they even interacted with one another.

2: Is This Kohberger's Connection To His Victims?

2m · Published 02 Feb 05:05
According to a source speaking to PEOPLE, in late October, an account that the authorities suspect belonged to Bryan Kohberger sent a greeting to one of the female victims.  After waiting some time without hearing back from her, he finally decided to send her many more messages.

According to the insider who spoke with People magazine, "He slid into one of the girls' DMs several times, but she did not respond. "Basically, it was just him saying, 'Hey, how are you?' But he did it again and again."

The authorities are maintaining their silence over the purported motivation behind the attack. They have not addressed the matter in a public setting regarding the connection between Kohberger and the victims. Kohberger's now-defunct Instagram account, which was examined by PEOPLE before it was removed, followed the profiles of Mogen, Gonclaves, and Kernodle, but there was no public activity on the account. PEOPLE observed the account before it was deleted.

It is unknown why Kohberger did not receive a response to his communications, but the officials believe that the victim may have been utterly unaware of their existence.
