     We’re headed into the final season of the Sopranos and Michael Imperioli and Steve Schirripa are kicking things off with a bang!      This week Michael and Steve welcome the one and only Steven Van Zandt back to the podcast. Steven is best known as the guitarist for Bruce Springsteen’s E Street band, and for playing Silvio Dante on the Sopranos. But now Stevie has added author to his list of accomplishments. He just released his biography “ Unrequited Infatuations”. This book is an incredible story of Steven’s life in music, the entertainment business and as a political activist. in this episode Michael and Steve talk to him about it all.      This week it’s another double header! Michael and Steve welcome Cara Buono (Kelli Moltisanti) and Alan Taylor (Sopranos director) to the podcast. 

     Cara’s up first and shares a great story about how Edie Falco welcomed her to the set. She also talks about what a crazy time she had with the Sopranos cast at the Emmys, and how show got the gig on Mad Men.

      This week Robert Patrick (David Scatino) joins Michael and Steve for another awesome episode of Talking Sopranos. Robert only appeared in 3 episodes of the Sopranos but was a really memorable character. He talks about how he got the gig and how important it was for him to do well. He shares some fantastic behind the scenes stories about the scene when Jim came after him for the money. Robert also talks about his career and how he got the role as the ultimate villain in Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

     This week on Talking Sopranos it’s At Home with the Cusamanos! Michael and Steve welcome Saundra Santiago (Jeannie and Joan Cusamano) and Bob LuPone (Dr. Bruce Cusamano ) to the podcast. 

     Up first Saundra calls out a not so well-liked actor on the set of Miami Vice. Then she talks about about how she was originally brought in to read for the role of Carmela. But once she saw the script, she really wanted to play Melfi. She read for the part and even went to LA to audition in front of the folks from HBO. It wasn’t meant to be and she ended up playing one of the two sets of twins on the show. 

     Then it’s the ultimate Wonderbread Wop…Dr Cusamano. Bob LuPone played the character to a tee. He talks about his inspiration for the role, and what it was like to work with James Gandolfini.
