A Good Day on Earth

A glimpse into the moment siblings Erin and Jake reunite after a year of separation due to quarantine. Because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the siblings have not had the opportunity to grieve the unexpected loss of their mother and father. When Jake drives into Flagstaff from New Mexico, he is greeted by his waiting sister surrounded by warring hummingbirds and a spring garden ready for new life. Together they process a small portion of their grief while reconnecting and finding joy in one another's presence in the face of ongoing complex realities.
