Episode 8- Heather

When I work with teachers who are hesitant to understand how Conscious Discipline can be used in intermediate grades I always use Heather as an example. Our first conversation with an administrator is straight fire! Candace is currently the Assistant Principal at Oakleigh Elementary but I met her when she was AP at Milbrook Elementary. With a degree and background in school psychology, Candace brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. Plus, she's a great friend so we had fun with this one. We talk about working with adults first, ideas for staff and students, how to make sure you are mindful as well as culturally responsive to your students and community.
