Welcome to the first ever Deserve To Be Well podcast. I’m Andy Irwin, the founder of D2BW. Our guest today is an inspirational leader and friend. Kat Hackshaw talks to us today about following your instincts, taking care of yourself and the importance of raising others up around you. Kat was the leader of a multi-million pound charity at the age of 21 and is currently one half of Instagram’s @bigsisterjournal which focuses, among other things, on issues facing young women of colour. Kat has worked on projects in higher education such as building a health and wellbeing strategy for a university and demanding action to eliminate the black student attainment gap.
