Chat with Leeza Gibbons, Host of PBS' "My Generation"

Today's show is a recording of a chat I was invited to participate in with Leeza Gibbons just prior to Mother's day.  Leeza, myself and several other mom bloggers spent about 45 minutes talking about her book "Take Your Oxygen first", her beauty product "Sheer Cover" and her Alzheimer's foundation "Leeza's Place".
It was a great conversation and there were a lot of wonderfully wise takeaway peices of advice, especially for those dealing with the care of ailing and/or aging parents. Enjoy!
The spectrum of Leeza Gibbons' career in entertainment and new media combined with her stunning "hands on" advocacy for healthcare, patients and caregivers is diverse and impressive. Leeza's on-camera hosting dominance in entertainment news and talk show arenas range from the most popular entertainment news show in history, Entertainment Tonight to TV news magazine Extra. For six years she was producer and host of the eponymous Leeza - the Emmy award winning daytime show covering pop-culture, beauty, medical and social issues. Currently she hosts the PBS TV show My Generation and her radio show, Hollywood Confidential, which reaches over 3.5 million listeners in the United States and Canada. Her direct response Sheer Cover beauty and cosmetics infomercial show is in its 7th year with worldwide viewership in the tens of millions.
Leeza also is the founder and creator of Sheer Inspiration Life Coaching, a web based business offering visitors one-on-one access to experts who can help them reclaim, reinvent or enhance their lives.
Her numerous guest appearances on shows such as Larry King Live, Good Morning America, Oprah, The Today Show and The View have all centered around her role as a social entrepreneur and her leadership and involvement in health issues which help foster social awareness and responsibility.

Successful Podcasts & Videos Class w/ Vonetta Booker-Brown

Today's show is a little different. As fans of the tMedia Facebook page know, I co-hosted a teleclass last week with Vonetta Booker-Brown of SuccesTales, on using podcasts and videos to you help market and brand your small business. It was a great call and I think it provided helpful and most importantly ACTIONABLE information for solopreneurs just starting out in the podcasting and video arena.    But whether you're new to podcasts and videos or not, you will definitely learn more about a few useful promotional and production tools that you can easily (and inexpensively) add to your audio/video toolbox.    Enjoy! :-)
