      Khanyisa is a South African-born author, traveler, and life coach. She has been traveling for the past ten years and with over twenty countries traveled, Khanyisa shares her journey with us in her memoir; Traveling While Black And Lesbian.   

      She began her traveling journey as an ESL teacher in South Korea and has since lived in Costa Rica where she did her MA at the United Nations-mandated University For Peace, she’s owned a party boat and eco-resort in The Phillies and came full circle as an ESL teacher in Thailand where she taught at a Buddhist university.  

       Khanyisa is passionate about exploring different cultures and learning from different philosophies. She now lives in Seattle, WA, and is a virtual life coach.
