okay let's talk voting.

Okay let's talk voting. In Cindy's absence, Kayla is checking in with her friend Valerie Reiffert who is CoFounder/Executive Director of Radical Registrars. Change starts with us the voters and it is important to get out and vote, especially now. Radical Registrars is a nonprofit organization formed after the murder of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and other Black people in 2020. The Black women led organization channeled their collective pain and anger from these tragic events and have engaged towards our community through youth-led, youth-focused voter registration and voter education.  In 2020 alone about a dozen of them registered over 1,000 people to vote in Bexar County, and created voter guides for 7 major counties in Texas. Kayla and Valerie are talking what is a voter guide and what helpful things they provide to help ease your anxiety or stress with voting.
