S01E08 - How to Give a Presentation

In the season 1 finale, Craig teaches me on a subject about which he knows a great deal: Giving presentations. Craig has been giving presentations for decades, and his insights can help anyone in their work, school, or even in their personal life. We hope you have enjoyed this first season of Teaching Moments. Let us know if you have any questions, feedback, or anything else you want to tell us. Our email address is [email protected]. Thanks for going on this journey with us. We'll see you in Season 2!

S01E07 - How to Make a Bet

In this episode, I talk about how to make the best bets, not in poker, but in your life. I talk about Game Theory, and Craig talks about his experience making bets in business. I based this topic off the book Thinking in Bets by Annie Duke. I recommend you check it out as well as checking out all the rest of our episodes.

S01E06 - How to Quit Your Day Job

This is a good one. In this episode, Craig tells you how to get out of that job you don't like and find something more suited to you. Craig has three steps to help you decide if you should quit and then the best way to get out of there. We are excited for you to hear this one and look forward to your feedback.

S01E05 - How to Tell a Story

After a short break, Craig and I are back with another episode of Teaching Moments. In this one I talk about the best ways to tell a story.

Storytelling is one of those skills that people like to say they have on resumes, but no one knows what it means exactly. In this episode, I'll get into the nitty-gritty of telling a story, how to make it stick, and what you can do to become more memorable.

Full Disclosure:

In the original recording, I told a long (a little too long) story about a parasitologist in Africa. I've moved it to the back of the episode, and I think the whole thing flows much better.

S01E04 - How to Get Funding

I imagine this is going to be a really popular episode. In this one, Craig talks about how to fund your dreams. That's right, the master of making things happen is going to share with you his secrets on how to make things happen. I want to listen to it, and I was there!  Specifically Craig talks about how to inspire others with your vision so that they will invest in you and your ideas. If you have an entrepreneurial bone in your body, this episode is a must.
