 LaWanda is always getting questions about homeschooling. People want to know about the nuts and bolts behind her decision and how she makes it happen. In this episode, we answer some of the basic questions people have, like "Is homeschooling legal?" and "How do I know what to teach my child?". We are LaWanda Townsend and Tamekia Jackson, two sisters, and educators who happen to live together. LaWanda has been formally homeschooling for 9 years and teaching for more than 13 years. Tamekia is a teaching artist and Arts Education Coordinator, who also performs and writes. Homeschool Conversations is about the informal ins and outs of homeschooling that make daily life fun, challenging and productive.
