Covid 19 Edition: Two Things I Know For Sure

29m · Inside The Happy Mind · 13 Jan 21:24

The last ten months have been anything but fantastic. So many families have faced tragedy; the world has been turned upside down and our new normal doesn’t leave room for the imagination. Yet, as a cohesive group of diverse people, we have risen above all the noise, it has not been without sacrifice, but our world is standing strong.

During this time, I have faced numerous transitions on my way to transformation. I’ve dealt with the loss of a loved one, a friend, and the attacks of coronavirus in our family.

Through it all, I have remained intentional in my daily habits, relationships, and personal life. As an entrepreneur, I had to pivot, release myself from the responsibilities of building a business during a pandemic and create space to grieve and grow.

Through it all, I learned a few lessons that I will share with you in this episode. If any of them ring true for you, send me a message, as I love hearing from you.

Peace & Blessings,

 Coach Billie C.

S2, EP 14 “Holding Space with Sylvia Parron”

In this world of easy access knowing the difference between counseling and coaching is essential to getting the proper help.  Mrs. Sylvia Parron, MFT Marriage and Family Therapist gave insight into how we can set boundaries in our relationships without destroying ourselves and those we love. Have you ever wondered what to look for in a therapist or if you needed one? Do you feel like you have given your life away to people who don’t respect or appreciate you? We discussed these topics and more.

One of my biggest takeaways was that “I am 100% responsible for myself.” No one else.  It’s not our parents, spouse, friends, or children’s fault.

Vulnerability, self-control, and confidence come with learning who we are and learning to trust ourselves.

“Never want more for someone than they want for themselves.” – Sylvia Parron, MFT

S2, Ep 11: Happy Women are The Foundation for Thriving Communities

Women possess exceptional strength that is loving, gentle, and kind, yet resilient, courageous, and steadfast.  These traits allow women to have a different perspective on how healthy communities should look.

Often this strength is drowned out by the demands of the many roles women attempt to fill.  We are mothers, professionals, caregivers, lovers, and friends, but how are we caring for ourselves?

In this episode, Coach Billie Crutcher introduces the concept of well women managing their strengths and missions so they can fully embrace themselves.

Coach Billie believes: “A Well Woman is a Happy Woman,” and we all are better together.

“A woman is the full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform.” ~ Diane Mariechild
