S1.E10: Sleep for The Win! with Laura Bojarskaité

1h 18m · Connection Talks · 11 Jul 16:32

In this week's episode "Sleep for the WIN!" we talk about sleep. For many, it is something that we don't take too seriously. In today's society, a lot of us struggle to sleep and are sleeping way too little. We go to bed at different times, we might worry about past events or future happenings.
In this episode of Connection Talks, I talked to Laura Bojarskaité, a neuroscientist who studies the science of sleep. Her research focuses on "brainwashing" a process that happens in our brain while we are sleeping. She gives great advice on how to get more quality sleep, and what happens when we don't get enough sleep. Laura is also a yogini and a neuroscience consultant at the Atman Yoga School, where she teaches the science of meditation and brain anatomy.

S1.E9: How to Create Juicier and More Authentic Relationships with Stephanie Dickinson

How can we stay connected to ourselves while we are in connection with others? This is what the practice of Authentic Relating teaches. The practice teaches us to be true to who we are and what we are feeling in any given moment in relation to other people. It teaches us to be curious of our own and the other person's world and experience! It's like meditating, but meditating together. In the curiosity of self and other, more aliveness, playfulness and juicyness awakens!

Tune in to this exciting conversation that I had with the lovely Stephanie Dickinson, a mindfulness mentor and business coach, who is on a mission to massively upgrade the relationship skills of millions worldwide. I went to one of her trainings with ART (Authentic Relating Training) in Bali last year, and it changed so much for me. This is truly medicine for social anxiety.

S1.E7: The Heroine's Journey with Hanna Emilie Wiik

Music has been a great companion for Hanna Handycat from an early age. She discovered a passion for music production and beat-making at the age of 15. A series of challenging events in her mid-twenties led to years of depression and isolation, where she felt disconnected from the music. Now, in her early 30's, she has regained her connection to the music, in a new and deeper way. She has also gained a lot of knowledge on how the mind works and how to work through trauma symptoms, in order to find back to her authentic self.

Tune in to this episode which is a little different from the previous ones! There's some treats for you ;)
