On Tuesday 18th of April at 6pm, Eastside Radio broadcast the 12th episode of Making Airwaves! Making Airwaves is a Windgap Foundation initiative, which allows adults who live with an intellectual disability to create their own half hour radio show. In this broadcast we hear from the talented Lance, Alex, Toohey, Nathan, Susie and Ailsa. This fabulous group from 3 Bridges discuss what its like to live with being visually impaired or blind and challenges for families with children with a disability. Susie talks about her trip around the world on a sailing boat and being totally blind. Dating tips, Alex’s opinions on 60’s Rock n Roll music and his ever growing record collection and insightful information on the NDIS and how it will affect you!!!
