1.14 Exploring Film: Elitism, Sexuality and Inclusion in film

46m · Eloping with the Truth · 13 Nov 13:00

We all watch films from time to time - but few analyse them. Previously we interviewed Bukky about her experience as an actress but in this episode look at film from a students perspective, analysing the Elitism of Award shows such as the Oscars and how they could become more inclusive. Additionally, we talk about supporting problematic authors through buying their books and whether it's acceptable to do so as an ally.
