43m · Revolution Awakening · 14 Dec 19:57

In todays episode we welcome on special guests Keith and Kate, founders of Sustainable Seacoast. A company designed to help eliminate single-use plastics in the Seacoast’s restaurant industry. This husband and wife team talks to us about why they created this program and how it is currently achieving their mission. Also, we hit you with some crazy statistics on current sea pollution facts and more. "Studies have shown that 67% of street litter is food industry disposables, much of which is single-use plastic. Our communities and oceans are increasingly becoming home to everlasting ‘disposable’ plastics. At the very least they ruin the beauty of our surroundings, more tragically, they pollute our environment with toxic chemicals and end in death for our land and sea wildlife."
