Welcome to Monday Club. There's an end of term feel in this, the last episode in our season of Conversations in Isolation.

It's July 2020. Social distancing measures in the UK are starting to ease and the members of Monday Club are discovering new ways to meet.

Anne, Carol, Bron and Diane reminisce about their school days, as we approach the end of the school term. They also invite you to come along to their live, virtual, Monday Club meetings - find out how by listening to this episode.

Grateful thanks to Beddau and Tynant Library and to Sophie West, for setting up our FaceBook page.

Monday Club Conversations in Isolation - Week 14

Welcome to Monday Club Conversations.

It's been fourteen weeks since the UK entered a period of social distancing measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The members of Monday Club have been unable to meet in Beddau and Tynant Library, in the South Wales valleys, so they've been sharing their conversations through this podcast.

This episode features Mary West, who has some interesting recipes to tell us about and some perspective on life in the town of Llantrisant during the lockdown.

We're also joined by Mary Pearse, who has exciting news of an opportunity to buy original artworks by a celebrity, to raise funds for a local charity.

Take a look at the Monday Club FaceBook page for links and information.

Please remember to check the government website for any advice about keeping yourself safe from Covid-19.

Thank you

Monday Club Conversations in Isolation - Week 12

Welcome to this conversation with the members of the Monday Club.

We usually meet at a small library in the South Wales valleys, but since everyone in the UK is observing social distancing measures to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, Covid-19, we can't meet in person.

We're sharing our conversations as a podcast so you can keep up to date with what's happening and, hopefully, feel a little less isolated.

In this week's conversation, Rhian tells us how Afon Dance are keeping their families connected remotely, and Sophie West joins us, to share some exciting news about our new Facebook page.

We hope you enjoy our conversation.

Join us on the new Facebook page - you'll find it by searching 'Beddau Library's Monday Club'.
