32m · Perspectives Podcast · 26 Mar 07:00

Aloha, my name is Holly Kalua and as a new Shelter in Place (SIP) Mom, I wanted to find help for those of us who have never schooled our children at home. I've learned so much and have an even deeper appreciation for parents who homeschool their children.

We'll hear how Elisa Campbell, elementary school teacher, perseveres as a mother of 3, helping her children with Shelter in Place Homeschooling, along with continuing as the 3rd & 4th grade Distance Educator! This isn’t her first crisis to manage her class and family through; she has survived and thrived through the Tubbs and Kincade fires with amazing resilience!

Listen in for her tips on how we can manage our new Teacher-at-home responsibilities, while supporting our children as they stay connected and engaged through this sudden change in their school environment.

My special guest, Calvin Kai Ku, knows without a shadow of a doubt, that Laughter Is the Best Medicine! How does he know?! He is a Joy Therapy Practitioner! Say what?
