Sam "Sunny Cider" Roberts and Kate Gervey set out on a quest through the realm of Thedas to discover, discuss, and dissect the wonderful world of Bioware's hit video game franchise "Dragon Age". In this, our prologue, we set the stage for the remainder of the podcast and let new listeners in on who we are, our experience with the series, and our love/hate relationship rotting our brains in the best way possible. After all, Dragon Age is a disease, but we wouldn't be here if we didn't love and cherish it with all our hearts!

Sunny and Kate begin the journey through Thedas by introducing the game that started it all! Dragon Age: Origins is a 2009 classic that covers a lot of ground both literally and metaphorically. We laugh, we cry, and we bleed a lot. Giving a brief overview of the game, learn about its history, its overall themes and plot points (no major spoilers!) and so on. Not only is this the origin of Dragon Age, but it's also the origin of our suffering.
