Adam Richlin on the IATSE Strike and Owning a NYC Rental House
Adam Richlin is the CEO of Lightbulb Rentals, formerly known as Lightbulb G&E, which caters to the local film community using product rentals, community events, online resources and a commitment to strengthening the bonds of the NYC Film Industry.
Today’s focus is dual; to discuss the realities that rental houses face in this industry as well as unpack a very important piece of current film history that’s unfolding: the IATSE Strike. As union voting goes under way, it looks like the industry may very soon grind to a halt. Why is this happening? What does it mean for the future of film---union or otherwise? Adam and Tom discuss these questions and more, hoping to shed some light on this difficult topic.
