Mindfulness in practice

Our final podcast explores mindfulness in practice

We spend very little time in ‘the present moment’. In fact, our daily routines, stress and digital connectivity mean it’s very easy to neglect our minds and allow ourselves to become distracted. So, why is it so important that we interrupt ourselves and bring our focus back on the present?

In previous episodes, we’ve discussed wellbeing, uncertainty, lack of human interaction, sleep, stress and anxiety. To round-up the series, in this episode we talk about the importance of mindfulness practice for our general wellbeing.

Some of the key questions that this podcast answers include:

  • What is mindfulness?
  • How important is it to focus on the present moment?
  • Why, as a society, are we so distracted?
  • What are the benefits of mindfulness?
  • What can we do to effectively practice mindfulness?
