5 Toxic Sport Mentalities and How to Combat Them (Solocast)

27m · Letter Me Up · 28 Mar 15:59

This is my first EVER solo cast, and I am feeling every bit excited and nervous. In this episode, I tell my journey with sports, specifically basketball, and the ways in which I’ve seen a toxic sport mentality harm my mental state and prevented me from being my best self and living my best life. Disclaimer: I love sports and think they teach you so much beyond the game. Basketball is a huge passion of mine, and I don’t think that will ever change. However, I’ve had some negative experiences concerning how society tends to think about sports that can be toxic. If you are or were an athlete, especially females, this episode is for you. I’d love to continue this conversation with you, so if this sparks a question or idea, please don’t hesitate to shoot me a DM!
