A graduate of the Sheridan College program in Child and Youth Work, Carol Lobo is a child care professional dedicated to helping children fruitfully grow and prosper. Always on her feet and adamant about keeping busy, her 14-year-long career portfolio consists of a diverse body of work, including retail, government, administration, and the one field incredibly close to her heart - customer service in the hospitality industry! Meghan Pereira- An 18 Year old, who is a leader, writer and much more

Meghan is a first year Economics major and Political Science minor at McGill University in Montreal, QC.

She has always enjoyed leadership, service, and one too many debates.  She captained the debate team and led them to victory at Yale University. She also held leadership positions all throughout high school, from class president in ninth grade, to a reelection in tenth grade, followed by a liaison position with the DPCDSB in grades 11 and 12.

Her most fulfilling experience so far was her volunteering experience at the Sri Christa Sharan School in Birur, Karnataka. There, she lived and taught English & Social Studies and regularly counseled for the construction of another village school.

Ever since the pandemic, she has turned to writing and writes for the student newspaper, the McGill Bull & Bear, as an opinion staff writer. And is an English tutor part time.

Strong activist of climate change and a sustainable architect

Anushka Samant, a 23 year old has an inspiring story to tell.  She is a strong climate change activist and a sustainable architect.

During one of her courses in Architecture, she had to work on a thesis and it was during this time,   she started to question the role and scope of architecture in relation to climate issues and sustainability. How could the skills she was trying to obtain help solve this issue? She began to realise the shallowness with which we all look at sustainability. She says, that it's a known fact that "architecture informs culture and culture informs architecture. Throughout history, we have witnessed how architecture has the ability to mould lifestyles, yet we do not use this ability to the fullest. While I as an individual do not have the power to stop big industries from deepening the crisis, I have the power to design in ways that influence a better lifestyle."

Celebrating World Autism Month

April is dedicated as World Autism Month, it was declared by the Autism Society in April 1970. Autism touches more than 70 million people globally. Approximately 1 in 60 children and youth are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder as per World Health Organization, and this number continues to grow.

Ayesha Jane Mendes, aged 10 years, will narrate inspiring stories of individuals, who suffer from Autism, but went on to create history.

Seema D'Souza Pinto, the woman who wears several hats

Seema D'Souza Pinto has worn many hats, she is a Marketing, Event & PR specialist with over 20 years experience in the Marketing Communications Industry.  Having founded Semora Entertainment Works, she has spearheaded it’s growth by working with a multitude of high profile corporate clients like  the IPL (Rajasthan Royals), South African Tourism, Google, Godrej Group, Lakme Fashion Week, BBC Knowledge, Femina, Cartoon Network, Yahoo India, Unilever, Disney, Airtel, Novartis, FIAT, etc.  She excels in strategizing & implementing nationwide campaigns, and being an "ideas" person, has conceptualized & executed significant projects, like Cartoon Network's Toon Cricket, The WebWiz Awards and the more recent and noteworthy, Diabetic Food Trail. Her agency work experience and a dual MBA degree in Finance & Marketing have greatly reinforced her management skills, enhancing the practical knowledge of the strategic planning and creative process.
