What was missing? A mentor.

How do I find my rhythm in doing all the things that I do now?

Let me share my story with you today. It was over 5 years ago when I was running a team and transitioning our construction company into a new business partnership. I appeared to have it all together but I was experiencing massive overwhelm with the robust amount of responsibilities and obligations I had from everyone. Sound familiar?

Well, I was used to high volumes of obligations but the weight of the overwhelm was like never before, until one day when a dear mentor posed a question that changed everything for me as an entrepreneur.  What is different today than when you were thriving as an employee?

In this episode of To The Point Podcast, I share how this reflection set me up to recognize that I had succeeded in both business and personal through mentorship. This is probably the closest episode to my heart as it changes how I perceived myself in all aspects of my life. I do not need to go alone.

May this episode set you up to identify what you really need to succeed.

How You Spend Your Time Matters

If you want to really expand your life and business there is one key trick to change everything, and that is paying attention to how you use your time.

As a high performer, action taker, and able to handle many things at once, it never occurred to me to pay attention to how I was spending my time. However, in this episode, I share my experience of working with coach Adrienne Dorison, owner of Run Like Clockwork, and how she changed my perspective of time, how I was spending my time and the importance of the impact of my use of time was slowing down my progress.
