Being accountable to something means that you're willing to make commitments and be responsible for your own actions. Look to yourself—first.  When situations arise, look first to yourself. Ask yourself questions:  “What is the problem?”  “What am I doing—or not doing—to contribute to the problem?”  "How can I learn from this situation without attributing blame to another’?
