Haunted objects, a spirit of a serial killer, and a hotel so haunted it's guest book has been deemed "The Book of the Dead" - these are the tales of tonight's campfire. Warning: Tonight’s Campfire episode is a cautionary tale. Stories from people who continually search for answers that might shed light on the eternal question - are ghosts real? Come join the Night Owl by the fire and let’s get transported to three haunted sites, each with its own haunted history. One such place is Zach Bagans' Haunted Museum in Las Vegas, a place filled with supposed haunted objects and a sign posted to warn people of the dangers of entering such a haunted space. Another site is the Historic Jefferson Hotel in Jefferson, Texas, where guest encounters are so common they’ve created a guest log full of personal experiences the staff refer to as “The Book of the Dead". And lastly, the Magnolia Hotel in Seguin TX is place with so much history and haunts the current owner has stated she loves it when people say, "If only these walls could talk, here at the Magnolia…they do.” Cozy up, grab a cup of coffee or a glass of whiskey, and join us by the fire. VACANCYA couple years ago Holly and two of her friends decided to celebrate her birthday by traveling from Austin to Shreveport to hit up a casino for the first time. But on the way there, they discovered there was a hotel in Jefferson, Texas that was reputedly haunted. So Holly and her friends decided, let’s get a room. And There were plenty available at this historic hotel nestled on a small side street of this Texas ghost town. Holly didn’t know it, but she was about to get the scariest birthday present of her life.THE WARNINGAlyssa Onyx is a gothic fashionista and gothic home decor/designer currently living in Austin Texas. She has been connected to, and interested in, the paranormal since the age of 2. But one late July night in a 170 year old hotel, Alyssa found that what started out fun, quickly turned horrific when she encountered the spirit of a notorious Texas serial killer within the walls of the Magnolia Hotel in Seguin, Texas. Haunted Hotel Havana - Part I
Throughout history, hotels have been a common hotbed for reported paranormal activity. In most major cities, you’re bound to discover there is at least one well-known hotel in town rumored to be haunted. Texas alone is riddled with them. There’s the Historic Jefferson Hotel in Jefferson, Texas, Hotel Paisano in Marfa, the Magnolia in Seguin, Texas, and here in Austin, the notorious Driskill Hotel. But tonight, the Night Owl travels to San Antonio, Texas, where haunted hotels abound, including the Menger Hotel, The Black Swan Inn, the Sheraton Gunter, and the Emily Morgan. However, in tonight’s episode, we are called to a lesser known hotel with supposed spooky inhabitants. The Hotel Havana, located on the popular River Walk in San Antonio, Texas, has been experiencing unexplained phenomena since reopening its doors in 2010. There’s a basement bar with a so-called burning man, or spirit on fire that has been seen on multiple occasions, phantom smells in the lobby, ghosts of children roaming the halls and rooms, shadow figures waking up guests, and even a weeping woman heard in the Penthouse suite. The activity is so prevalent that the staff have enlisted the help of a resident psychic to gain insight and also provide readings and guided tours. The Haunted Pompee House - Part III
In the previous two episodes, the team has been investigating the mysterious happenings at the Pompee house - a transplanted historic home now sitting atop a cliffside in far west Austin. Homeowners Kevin, Sherry and their six year old daughter Jolene have been having strange experiences since moving in in 2018. Through interviews the team learned that the family were having sightings of what they believed to the spirit of a little girl in white stockings, shadow figures in doorways and hallways, disembodied voices calling both Sherry and Jo throughout the house, and lastly the previous home owner who passed away while living in the home has been felt throughout the upstairs front room and parlor. Following the team’s interviews, they decided to bring in their psychic friend Jeffery to see if they could connect any dots between the sightings, the history and what he might pick up on his visit. Jeffery validated many experiences, including the previous homeowners presence. But he also brought to light a slightly more unsettling presence that seemed to like watching the homeowners daughter sleep. This led the family to open up to the team, for the first time, about Jolenes’ night terrors and her fear of sleeping alone. Then, at the end of this initial investigation, a psychic medium named Michelle with no connection to this case, the team or this family was pulled into this case in a unique way. Now, in this episode, the team continues their adventure at the Pompee house, this time with this unexpected new psychic medium joining us from north Texas.

A Psychic Journey (Campfire)
It’s one thing to experience a haunting or isolated paranormal encounter, and another all together to discover you may possess an ability to see and communicate with the dead. The Haunted Pompee House - Part II
A transplanted historic home, now sitting atop a cliffside in farwest Austin, has its residents questioning whether or not they are alone in their residence. Kevin, Sherry and their 6 year old daughter Jolene moved into the home in 2018 and each has been having both unique and shared experiences ever since. Kevin, a local musician, candidly shared with us in the previous episode all he’s experienced in this home. He’s reported faces peering from bookshelves while recording music, shadow figures standing in doorways, sightings of what he believes to be a little girl wearing white stockings, and a disembodied voice captured on a studio recording of a song. Following an interview with Kevin, the family had dropped off and seemingly lost interest in pursuing further investigation with the Night Owl team. However, Stephen was shocked to get a call from Kevin’s wife Sherry one night, informing him she’d finally witnessed something herself - she saw stockinged feet running across the upstairs kitchen stairway. In this episode, the team will travel to the Pompee House for the first time to conduct in-person interviews with Sherry and their 6 year old daughter Jolene to dig deeper into these strange occurrences.
