Just Shy joins us to discuss the release of his new track, Silhouette. The track embraces the allure and chaos of queer nightlife - a manifesto of dancefloor confidence. Produced by Dion Shaw, Silhouette’s thumping pop-house beat takes cues from classics like Madonna’s Vogue, by way of more contemporary cuts like Beyone’s Alien Superstar. The track’s heavy-hitting bass and Vogue-esque horn flourishes are a compelling foundation for Just Shy’s tight vocals (produced by Curtis Hatton at Studio Truth), laden with precise harmonies and vocoders. Silhouette is the first single to be lifted from Just Shy’s forthcoming debut EP, scheduled for release in mid-2023.

Annie returned to Australia with a long-distance relationship, a massive medical bill and 25 minutes of new material. Meanwhile Mo stayed back in his Bachelor pad, crying into his bubble tea and scheming about how they could see each other again. And so, this show was born.
