Miranda’s story

Miranda is a mother of three with lived experience of pelvic girdle pain. Miranda was hugely grateful to discover The Pelvic Partnership when pregnant with her first child and suffering from severe pain. She felt isolated at home unable to work in her busy role at M&S. She found huge support from her brilliant chiropractor who has become a lifelong friend. Miranda resumed her career at M&S running projects and commuting. When her second child, was two years old she competed on the first series of The Great British Bake Off and she was pregnant with her third baby when she wrote her first cookbook. Miranda is passionate about the importance of mothers and their wellbeing and how women are seen and treated in pregnancy and in the medical community. She is keen to share her experiences in case they may help others and to support The Pelvic Partnership in any way she can. _________________________________________ THANK YOU so much for listening to our little podcast 🎧 it means the world to us. Sinead's Story

Sinead's Story (and many others like it) was the inspiration for the podcast. The differences she experienced between her pregnancies, the support of the pelvic partnership and her subsequent experience is the reason we do what we do. Every experience is entirely unique and there is no one size fits all approach to pelvic girdle pain. But you can hear the difference between Sinead's first and second pregnancies. We are very grateful to her for sharing her experience. This is a repeat story but we wanted to share in this season as it fits perfectly. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/letstalkaboutpgp/message
