In the episode she shares about what it was like to grow up with parents who were addicts during the beginning of the opioid crisis and died while she was young and how she found herself becoming a functional addict herself to a now sober mother, artist, and business owner. She has such an inspiring story and has put a spotlight on harder topics many times through her art and finds her truth connects her with her audience and them with one another. I love that because it reminds humans they are most certainly not alone in their experience. So enjoy getting to know Darra.
