On Tuesday, March 26th, 2018, the tranquil scenery of Northern California’s Highway 1 in Mendocino County was eclipsed by a disturbing scene. As a tourist was passing by, soaking in the views from 100 feet above the waves, crashing below, he noticed something out of place. From the rocks below, the undercarriage of a GMC Yukon was looking up at him. At first, the undercarriage blended in with the dark rocks. But once he registered what he was really looking at, he immediately called 911 and what authorities found inside the Yukon was a sinister nightmare. This is the story of the Hart family.
