Each year during this month of February, we recognize and celebrate Black History Month, a reflection on the generations of African Americans who have struggled with adversity.
So In this episode, we are going to explore some best practices for self care that helps improve mental well being. We will explore the intersection of black history, black culture, and mental wellness as a whole while focusing on black self care practices for improving mental health.
As we all know, mental health conditions do not discriminate based on race or background, however, background and identity can make access to mental health treatment much more difficult.
